Titta's gender is not directly indicated, but since Papsine Doulista's father was an anonymous bishop of Faras (ll. 6–7; see IM REF 7495), Titta must be her mother. Alternatively, one could suppose that Titta is the name of the bishop-father, but it would be strange that his title is not repeated here.
