The gender is not specified, but the name is typically masculine. Moreover, Mena occurs here in pair with a certain Iongoka, who is most probably the same person as a daughter of Chael Songoja from other documents. Since then, the two persons forming the party of a transaction indeed were man and woman, it is possible that they were husband and wife.
