The name of the person's function has not been preserved, but if the identification of ⲡⲁⲓⲇⲉⲥ as the name of the church is correct, Gabrielkouda Iesousnoukout must have belonged to the male staff of the church. It cannot be excluded that this is not one person with two names, but the name with a patronymic in which the word for 'son' fell out for some reasons. Interestingly, two names seem to belong to two distinct linguistic realities: Gabrielkouda to Old Nobiin, Iesousnoukout to Old Dongolawi.
