Łajtar in I. Banganarti 2 730 edits ⲉ̣ⲓⲕⲁ ⲕⲩⲉⲓⲛ ⲧⲟⲧ ⲓ̄ⲟ︦, ‘Ika, son of Kui (or: tot of Kui)'. However, given the occurrence of the name ⲕⲩⲉⲓⲛⲧ in DBMNT 1553, and that the ⲟ in Łajtar's ⲧⲟⲧ rather resebles an ⲁ, the reading ⲉ̣ⲓⲕⲁ ⲕⲩⲉⲓⲛⲧ ⲁⲅⲓ̄ⲟ︦ seems preferable. If so, the relation between the two names, Ika and Kuint, disappears. We could suppose that Kuint was Ika's second name or the it was the patronymic without the habitual espression 'son of'.
