Normally, Sion is feminine proper name, but since there is a lacuna after the final nu and at the beginning of the next line, we do not know whether the nu is the actual end of the name. While metronymic in filiation is certainly not impossible, owing to the lacunas it cannot be excluded that the title domestikos of Faras that occurs in the following line pertains not to .d...tat( ) but to his father.
