Meaning: ⲁⲃⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲁⲙⲁ, Abusalama + -ⲛ (genitive) + ⲕⲟⲩⲇⲁ, 'servant' = 'servant of Abusalama'.
It is possible, too, that the person was the actual servant of someone called Abusalama, but ⲕⲟⲩⲇⲁ is hardly attested outside of onomastic context. Alternatively, the whole phrase Abusalamankoudi may be a translation of an Arabic phrase constructed according to the pattern Abd + noun/adjective, meaning 'servant of ...', but the name Abd Abusalama is unattested. Moreover, such Arabic names always contain as second element a divine noun or epithet.
